  • Dave Sweyer

    » Co-Owner/CEO

    Dave started working in his family’s real estate business in 1998 after a career in corporate America working for GE and Allied Signal in increasing roles of responsibility in operations management. Putting his corporate experience to work, Dave started a Community Association Management company with the goal of offering a high quality, relationship driven business to associations in Southeastern North Carolina. In 2003, Dave and Mike Stonestreet merged their respective association management companies to become CAMS. 

    Dave is also the owner of Sweyer Property Management, a long term residential rental management company responsible for the property management of over 1,500+ units in Southeastern North Carolina.

    In addition to his business interests, Dave has served/is serving on the Board of Directors for Easter Seals UCP North Carolina and Virginia, The Executive Board of The Cape Fear Council for Boy Scouts of America, The Board of Directors for Corning Credit Union, and is on the Board of Trustees for Cape Fear Academy.

    Dave graduated from Vanderbilt University with an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and received an MBA from Duke University.

  • Mike Stonestreet, CMCA, PCAM, AMS

    » Co-Owner/President

    Mike is “Hands-On” working daily with the community managers and their respective association Board of Directors regarding higher-level issues. In 1991, Mike founded Community Association Management Services (CAMS), one of the leading community management companies in North Carolina. In 1995, Mike became one of fewer than 680 in the United States to have earned the CAI designation of Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM). He currently serves on the CAI-NC Board of Directors.

  • Ed Yopp


    Ed came to Wilmington in 2004 to join the CAMS' team. He has worked to improve the overall level of professionalism within the organization with a focus on insurance and financial products and issues. Prior to joining CAMS, Ed worked at Highlands Insurance Group in a number of financial roles ultimately rising to the position of Director of Business Planning and Analysis and Special Assistant to the CFO. Ed graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC with degrees in political science and accounting.

  • Greg Rohde, CMCA

    » COO (Chief operations officer)

    Greg is responsible for overseeing the corporate operations of CAMS, which includes accounting, communications, the mailroom, IT and Spectrum Accounting.  He will manage these groups to achieve operational excellence through accountability, process improvement, customer feedback, and implementing lean processes for greater efficiency.  In 2009, Greg started with CAMS as a Community Manager and previously was a Comptroller of a 40 store retail chain in which he helped grow the company from the concept phase.  He has a Degree in Accounting.

  • Jane Harris

    » Benchmark CAMS Vice President

    Jane has been with Benchmark since 1998 but has worked in Association Management for over 30 years. She has been the head of Accounting for many of those years and is very knowledgeable in accounts receivable, accounts payable, monthly financial reports, association funding and financial decisions for associations.

  • Ben Rhodes, CMCA, PCAM, AMS, CPO

    » General Manager - WESTERN REGION

    Prior to joining CAMS, Ben has spent over 10 years in the association management industry as a manager and industry executive. Ben brings with him several years of experience managing a diverse portfolio of communities from condominiums to large 1000+ home neighborhoods as well as an understanding of the vendor relationship within community associations. In 2009 Ben was recognized by the North Carolina Chapter of the Community Association Institute as the Manager of Distinction. Ben has served as board member, vendor and HOA industry executive.

    Prior to his career in the association Industry he was President and General Manager of Carolina Pool Management in Charlotte and has worked in New York City in the service industry specializing in high profile events including the Grammy Awards, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and private work for George Soros and Mayor Bloomberg. Over his 20 years in the Carolinas he has also worked with non-profit companies raising awareness for people with disabilities and promoting sport as a means to bettering relations among diverse groups.

    Ben is a graduate of Clemson University where he focused on management. His studies included community development, leisure services, and business. While at Clemson he was a member of Clemson Swimming and Diving team.

  • Deanna King, PCAM, CMCA, AMS, CDPM


    Deanna King has been in the Association Management industry for 15 years. She has worked with the three largest property management firms in Hawaii. With Hawaiiana Management Company being the largest, managing over 500 properties and 60 portfolio managers, she has a vast amount of knowledge in managing town homes, condominium and single family home associations. Ms. King also worked for Metropolitan Management, a management firm, and Army Hawaii Family Housing in order to establish one of the country’s largest military housing privatizations.

    During that time, she continued to pursue higher levels of professional education, having earned the Certified Privatization Property Manager (CDPM), the Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA) accreditation; the Association Management Specialist (AMS) accreditation, and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) accreditation, which is the pinnacle of association management. The PCAM designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management. Other accomplishments she has completed are obtaining a State of Hawaii Real Estate license and serving two years as Secretary on the Board of Hawaii Rental Housing Association. She currently sits as the Chairman for the CAI – Coastal Regional Council for the Southeastern part of North Carolina.

  • Jamie Bryan, CMCA, AMS

    » Regional Manager – North Brunswick County and North Myrtle Beach

    Jamie brings a wealth of knowledge to CAMS with over 8 years of community management experience. Jamie Bryan is a graduate of the University at Albany in New York State and has a Bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies and Sociology. As an experienced Senior Manager Jamie has great experience in both portfolio and onsite association management of Homeowners Associations, Condominium Associations, as well as Timeshares and Cooperatives. Jamie is a Florida State Licensed Community Association Manager and has earned the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and the Association Management Specialist (AMS) accreditations.

  • Bill Dix CMCA, AMS

    » Regional Manager – Western Region


    Bill Dix has been in the association management field for twelve years with Hawaiiana Management Company, as a Senior Management Executive. While with Hawaiiana Management Bill is a multiple award winner with IREM for Maui's only two Building of the Year and Accredited Manager of the Year awards. Bill has obtained his CMCA and AMS designations and is working towards his PCAM designation. Prior to association management Bill also spent 8 years in commercial and residential property management.

    Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Bill has also lived in Southern California, Chicago, Detroit and Maui before calling Charlotte home. Bill is a huge sports fan, especially ice hockey, enjoys camping and the outdoors and loves country music.

  • Nealie Williams

    » Director of Business Development and Onboarding Operations

    Nealie is a North Carolina native who is fortunate to have grown up on Topsail Island and has spent the majority of her life in the local area. She graduated from UNCW as a member of the Cameron Executive Network, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Since graduating, Nealie has utilized her determination and dedication while working in all aspects of business management and property administration. She started working in her family’s real estate business at a young age, contributing to property management, accounting, marketing, financing, networking and customer service; she is now a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker. Nealie is passionate about what she does and takes great pleasure in developing and maintaining new, gratifying relationships. When she is not working, Nealie adores traveling the world and/or simply relaxing by the water with friends and family!

  • Madison Hargett

    » Executive Assistant

    Madison, originally from Okoboji, IA, moved to Wilmington in March of 2015. Since moving, she has thoroughly enjoyed everything a coastal city has to offer. She has learned how to surf, loves going to the beach and doesn’t think she’ll ever be able to go back to a cold weather climate. Madison graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology certificate. She possesses over 5 years of professional experience in office management and customer service. In her spare time, Madison instructs kickboxing at a local gym and loves staying active. You can find her hanging around the beach most weekends, playing fetch with her dog and spending time with her friends.

  • Tara Armstrong

    » Senior Community Manager, CMCA, AMS

    Tara Armstrong initially joined CAMS in 2012 as a member of the Client Services Team and transitioned into the Community Manager role within several months. Previously, she worked through the ranks with one of the nation’s major wireless carriers with positions varying from customer service to technical support, and management to finance. Tara’s customer service and finance background benefit her as a community manager in building rapport with homeowners and in reporting financials.

  • Todd Edmiston CMCA, PCAM, AMS

    » Senior Community Manager

    Todd has sixteen years of Community Management experience and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Finance. He also has earned the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation and the Association Management Specialist Certification (AMS) as well as the PCAM, which is the highest designation of the Community Associations Institute.

  • Johanna Holtzclaw, CMCA

    » Community Manager

    Johanna is a CAMS Community Manager that started with us in 2012. Previously she worked in property management and has a unique background as a residential and commercial Design Consultant. Johanna holds a B.S. in Interior Architecture and a B.A. in Political Science. Through her customer service and keen design expertise, she is passionate about ensuring a beautiful property and community. Johanna appreciates a strong relationship with homeowners and business owners built upon uncommon trust and rapport.

  • Kevin Wilson,

    » Community Manager

    Originally from Boston, Kevin brings with him a diverse background, including an education in design and years of experience in both corporate and small business environments, with roots in construction, maintenance, and customer service. His recent work as the on-site Facilities manager at a large beachfront community, along with a strong eye for detail will greatly benefit his communities from a physical standpoint. Kevin is married and has a daughter and in his spare time, enjoys cooking, sports, travelling, and furniture building.

  • Kathleen Gilissen

    » Community Manager

    Kathleen brings over 20 years of customer service experience to the CAMS team. She has recently relocated back to Wilmington to be closer to family. Kathleen is passionate about what she does and takes pride in her work. She appreciates building strong working relationships with her colleagues and building good rapport with our clients. When not at work, Kathleen likes to spend time with her family and friends, cooking, and riding her bike.

  • Shannon Smith, CMCA

    » Community Manager

    Shannon is of judicious nature. She joined the CAMS’ team in 2008 in the Client Service department and became a Community Manager in 2011. She is a graduate of UNCW with degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology. She also comes from a paralegal background and has had experience working with non-profit organizations. All combined, this gives her a keen understanding of homeowners’ associations.

  • Jay Cartrette, CMCA

    » Community Manager in Training

    Born in Southeastern NC, Jay moved with his family to Texas as a child and after graduating moved back home to NC in 1988. He went to work with the City of Wilmington NC Public Utilities and also worked in residential construction with Johnson and Morgan Builders in Brunswick County. He started working with R.H. McClure Realty of Ocean Isle in 1998 within their property management division and construction divisions. Jay was promoted to the rental department Director of Maintenance in 2000, all while working in the rental office and learning property management as well. After several years with a dedicated work ethic and excellent service he was promoted to General Manager in 2015. Under his leadership, the business grew and added many new clients, retained seasoned employees as well as adding new members of staff to the company. Jay enjoys spending time with his family, wife of over 20 years and their son of Cary, NC. Jay also enjoys fishing and recreational boating in our coastal and fresh waters. He and his wife partake in fostering and rescuing dogs with their local animal shelter.

  • Addison Ottaway

    » Assistant Community Manager

    Addison is an NC native, local to the Wilmington/Jacksonville coastal area. He is a graduate of Elon University with a B.A. in Psychology. His entrance into customer service began as a child alongside his mother in property management. Addison spent 10 years running his family’s housekeeping company beginning his sophomore year of college, with the latter 5 years working full time simultaneously in property management as a housekeeping manager servicing vacation rental and long term properties on Topsail Island. His experience and understanding of island living led him to get his broker’s license, and his time in property management occasionally crossed paths with CAMS community managers. When choosing to leave the Real Estate and property management industries, Addison seized an opportunity to find a place among the CAMS team because it “just felt right.”

  • Kami Carden

    » Assistant Community Manager

    Kami was born and raised in Joplin, MO and moved with her husband in 2017 to the Wilmington, NC area to be closer to family. She joined CAMS as a Community Support Specialist in June of 2017 and became an Assistant Community Manager in May 2018. She brings over 27 years of customer service experience in Fleet Management/Logistics and Customer Support/Contracts Administration. Kami is very enthusiastic in her new role and is very dedicated to her job.

    She is a very passionate person, and always willing to listen to the customer’s needs and try to help them. In Kami’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her family at the beach. Her and her husband have 3 children and 3 grandchildren (and another soon on the way!)


  • Adam Soccorsi, CMCA, AMS

    » Community Manager

    Adam comes from Detroit, Michigan and relocated to the Charlotte area in June 2008. Adam attended Western Michigan University, graduating with top honors. He gained experience working as a portfolio manager for another large Community Management Company. Prior to joining the industry Adam and his wife Mandy owned and operated a successful automotive restoration franchise. Upon the sale of the business he volunteered for his HOA and felt property management was his calling, he now sits on the Board of Directors for his own Homeowners Association. Adam enjoys reading, carpentry and spending time with his wife, Mandy, daughter Juliet and his two dogs, Zeppelin and Lulu.

  • Ceilia Wolfe CMCA

    Ceilia Wolfe recently moved to Charlotte from Sarasota, Florida. Ceilia has a strong accounting and construction background with more than 13 years in the industry. She attended Wake Tech Community college for Architecture Technology and Computer Programming. Ceilia has been a Portfolio Manager for the past 3 years and received her CMCA in 2015. Her passions are her career and anything to do with animals. In her free time, she loves to take her 2 dogs (Autumn & Maverick) hiking, kayaking and even horseback riding.

  • Chris Wetmore CMCA, AMS

    » Community Manager, CMCA

    Chris grew up in Charlotte, NC and has a degree in Economics from ECU. After spending 5 years in the financial industry he has spent the past 7 in community management. His experience in Charlotte includes managing high-rise buildings, mixed use buildings, and townhomes. Since 2016 Chris has managed a 6,000+ acre mountain community made up of single family homes, condos, and amenity buildings located near Blowing Rock, NC. This community includes campsites, trout streams, and 52 miles of maintained hiking/UTV trails. He is active in the local community and completed the 2017 Blowing Rock Leadership Challenge. In 2018, Chris was appointed by the Blowing Rock Town Council to serve a three year term on the Blowing Rock Appearance and Advisory Commission (BRAAC). In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family doing the many outdoor activities that the High Country has to offer. He is also a member of several plant societies where he has held a number of leadership positions and also owned and operated a mail order plant nursery for 5 years.

  • Courtney Morgan

    Courtney comes to CAMS with years of previous management experience in the Richmond area. Originally from Virginia, and a graduate of West Virginia University, Courtney moved to Charlotte with her husband, Robby, who grew up in the Charlotte area. Courtney believes that accountability and effective communication are the two most essential keys to managing a community. In her free time, Courtney can be found running, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Ravens and West Virginia University in football.

  • Cynthia Kwolyk

    » Community Manager


    Cynthia was raised in Lynnfield, Massachusetts just 15 minutes north of Boston. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY. she pursued her career in graphic design, marketing and account management. Cynthia and her husband moved to Danbury, CT where she was a realtor for 6 years. In 2007 Cynthia, her husband and two sons moved from New Milford, CT and relocated to South Charlotte. After roles in account payables and receivables she managed a South Charlotte 290 family swim & tennis club. In late 2016 she started with CAMS at an uptown Charlotte 300 unit condominium property as a Concierge Associate and Assistant Community Manager. Cynthia is currently an On-site Manager for a 179 unit condominium property in the South Park area of Charlotte where she is building new relationships and learning the inner workings of the property. Cynthia enjoys time with her family, relaxing on the beach and painting.

    Jessica was born and raised in the small town of Bedford, Massachusetts just 20 minutes outside of Boston. Shortly after High School she moved to Maine to earn her Bachelors degree at the University of Southern Maine where she graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management. After graduation, she pursued a career in Saco, Maine where she progressed from an assistant community manager to a lead community manager for several communities and commercial properties in Southern Maine. Jessica enjoys being active and outdoors where she partakes in several activities such as kayaking, hiking, and snowboarding.

  • Jenny Glidden

    » Community Manager

    Jenny Glidden, a Community Manager at CAMS, didn’t always spend her days advising HOA boards. Jenny used to unearth treasure as an exploration geologist in an open pit gold mine in Cripple Creek, Colorado. While getting her education in geology, Jenny moonlighted in community management. While she truly enjoys finding hidden gems, she missed the unique relationships that come when being part of a community management team. So she traded in her hammer and chisel for board packets and landscaping contracts to begin her career at CAMS. “My experience in community management taught me the importance of customer service and communication. It taught me the value of multitasking and refining my processes for better efficiency. I have a strong passion for selfless dedication to completing a job to the best of my ability.” Jenny may no longer be searching for precious metals, but her search for a real work family landed her at home with CAMS.

  • Kelly Tulacz, CMCA, AMS

    » Community Manager

    Kelly was born and raised in Lancaster, PA.. She graduated from Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration. Kelly worked as the Recreation Manager at the Omni Orlando Resort in Championsgate in Orlando, Florida before moving to Charlotte, NC. Her hobbies include any and all sports, whether she's watching them or playing them, being outside, hiking, and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.

  • Larry Sheeler, CMCA, AMS, PCAM

    Executive On-Site Director

    After spending nearly two decades in law enforcement, Larry owned and operated a successful Orlando area management company and has managed several large-scale communities, including a 55+ community with a robust lifestyle program and clubhouse. Over Larry’s career he has worked with a number of developers, builders and associations and he understand the complexities that make each and every community special. Much of Larry’s community association management career has been involved with communities that are under development and he has successfully navigated through the turnover of control from the community development team to homeowner control many times, including for a 3,100 home master planned community. Larry knows Community Association Management is a very personal business and has made it his goal to improve the quality of life for homeowners, while protecting one of their greatest investments - their home.

  • Rita Barrett, CMCA

    Community Manager

    Hailing from the great state of Indiana, Rita is a veteran community manager with more than 11 years in the association field. Her tenure in the industry has afforded her the opportunity to develop some great relationships and network with many of our trade professionals. She prides herself on good communication and troubleshooting skills. Rita relocated to North Carolina in 2002 with her husband of 20 years and has two children. In her spare time, Rita enjoys traveling, reading and watching scary movies.

  • Jayson Pratt

    » Maintenance Supervisor

    Originally from NY, Jayson moved to Charlotte in 2007. With a background in construction he started working with Duvall Investment Group as part of their construction team(Commercial Construction Associates) doing unit remodels/repairs for their commercial buildings. He then started working for the maintenance department as a tech when they decided to dissolve their construction department. After several years with a dedicated work ethic and excellent service he was promoted to Maintenance Supervisor. He is a humble and passionate person who strives to serve our communities and assist our managers to the best of his ability. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors and staying active. Whether its playing any kind of sport or just enjoying nature through camping and hiking, he enjoys every moment life has to offer.

  • Hanna Pate

    » Assistant Community Manager

    Hanna grew up in Lancaster, SC and went to York Technical College where she gained her Associates in Applied Science/ Admin Office Technology and Paralegal Certification. Hanna worked in logistics two years prior to coming to CAMS and thoroughly enjoys problem solving. In Hanna's spare time you'll find her spending time with her 3 year old daughter and family doing things like going camping and venturing off to different events within the community.

  • Kaytee Bell

    » Assistant Community Manager

    Kaytee has worked in customer service for 8 years, with 4 years as a supervisor. She thoroughly believes that a good relationship with the customer is the key to a successful business. Kaytee prides herself on being a hard worker and a team player. She grew up in Massachusetts, just South of Boston, but relocated to Sunset Beach to be closer to her family.


  • Tonyne Haynes

    » Community Manager

    Tonyne joined CAMS in 2017 bringing with her 10 years of transferable experience from the field of vacation rental property management. During her time working on the islands of Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle, she managed the Maintenance, Housekeeping, Guest Services and Marketing departments for one of the largest companies in the area. Tonyne believes that open communication, being proactive and being unafraid to ask questions, are the foundation of good leadership. With her strong customer service skills, familiarity in maintenance management and her educational background in Communications, she is ready to hit the ground running in her role of Community Manager.

  • Greg M. Mayol, PCAM, AMS

    » Community Manager

    Greg has been in the Community Association Management field since 1980. He and his family moved from Alexandria, Virginia to Wilmington, NC in 2002. His vast experience includes working as: Executive Director of St. Regis Resorts in Topsail Beach, NC; Vice President of Property Management for the Coastal Region of the Kuester Companies and currently with CAMS, the manager for Brunswick Plantation POA, a large scale community in Brunswick County, NC. Greg’s management experience includes COA, HOA, POA, cooperative, and townhouse.

  • Karen Johnson

    » Community Manager

    Karen Johnson brought her vivacious personality to CAMS’ growing Brunswick County region in 2007. She has experience in business administration and customer service. She has enjoyed working with Palmetto Creek since 2008 and was dedicated to being their on-site Community Manager in 2012. She is driven, resourceful, and a natural problem-solver. Her passion for assisting her residents translates to consistently outstanding client satisfaction. Karen is a joy to her residents and co-workers alike.

    Lee is extremely professional and respectful when dealing with colleagues and clients. She treats them the same way she would like to be treated. Lee goes the extra mile if needed to solve problems and get clients a quick response.

  • Lisa Marie Rockwood, CMCA, AMS, PCAM 

    » Community Manager

    Lisa Marie has over ten years of experience in the community management industry and in 2017 was awarded the PCAM ® Designation from CAI. She has been the on-site community manager of Winding River Plantation since late 2014. Prior to working at CAMS, Lisa Marie was a portfolio manager in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area where she managed condominium, townhouse and single family communities. Lisa Marie has been recognized by management, her peers, developers and homeowners for her knowledge and attention to detail at the communities she manages. She puts great emphasis on developing and maintaining productive working relationships with homeowners, board members and vendors.

  • Nicol Karn, CMCA

    » Community Manager

    Nicol is the on-site CAMS Community Manager in Brunswick Forest. With a background in retail management, predevelopment property sales, a B.S. in Business Management and CMCA certification, Nicol enjoys combining her customer service aptitude, management inclination, experience and training to provide effective full service community management to our association members and board members. Since Brunswick Forest is in the early stages of development, many of our efforts are based around creating policies that will stand the test of time and that are in the best interest of the Members and the community as a whole. Nicol states, “the best part about what I do is getting to interact with a wonderful range of people, every day is busy and I get to be out on the property seeing the community grow and transform before my eyes.”

  • Ashley Orr

    »Community Manager

    Born and raised in and around Washington, DC, Ashley moved to North Carolina with her son in 2013. Ashley began her professional career as a Customer Service Professional with the US Government. She now has 10 years of experience in customer service and satisfaction, with 8 years focused in property management and leasing. Ashley takes pride in ensuring each customer transaction is smooth from start to finish and doesn’t stop until the job is complete. Ashley recently rescued a Lab Mix named Izzy in addition to her Yorkie named Chloe. In her pastime, she enjoys playing with her little one and soaking up the sun at the beach.

  • Christopher Parrish

    » Assistant Community Manager

    Chris Parrish originally hails from the quaint town of King, North Carolina but has called the coast home now for 8 years. He recently graduated Magna Cum Laude and as a member of Phi Theta Kappa from Brunswick Community College with an Associate of Science in General Education. He is now pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing online at East Carolina University. Go Pirates! Chris loves to travel. His favorite spots include Charleston, SC, where the low-country cuisine is unparalleled, and the picturesque city of Savannah, GA, which is filled with the fondest memories because it is where he married his beautiful and amazing wife Megan in October 2013. They have one "kid," a husky/akita mix named Zephyr who thinks he is a lap dog.

  • Cindy Phillips

    » Assistant Community Manager

    Cindy is originally from California where she and her husband had their own business for many years. She is the on-site Assistant Community Manager for Brunswick Forest and the neighborhoods within. She has worked in the property management industry for 11 years, and has been with CAMS for over 5 years with the last 4 of those years in the Brunswick Forest office. Her current position is working as the liaison for the Architectural Review Committee (ARC), as well as, working with the owners to help them resolve problems. She thrives on creative and challenging environments, while remaining resourceful and lighthearted.


  • Cathy Wade, CMCA, AMS, PCAM

    » Senior Community Manager

    Originally from South Africa, Cathy earned her Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Prior to settling in Utah, Cathy was a partner in a coffee roasting and retail company in Cape Town, South Africa. Cathy Wade’s career in the Homeowner Association industry began when she joined a vacation rental & HOA management company in Park City, Utah. After enjoying ten winters in Utah, the Wade family relocated to North Carolina where Cathy worked as a Community Manager and where she also served as Branch President of Associa’s Raleigh office for 8 years. She earned her PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager Designation) in 2007. Cathy is passionate about all aspects of community management, with an emphasis on bringing the tools and resources needed to empower community volunteers to be able to achieve their vision. She has been an active member of CAI (The Community Associations Institute) and she has served on the North Carolina Legislative Action Committee for CAI since 2012.

    Cheryl, joined the CAMS team in 2014 with previous management experience and 30+ years of experience in custom service, administration and construction, she is dedicated in providing her Associations with the best service possible and exceeding homeowner expectations . Originally from Charleston, WV, Cheryl has lived in Charlotte, NC for 28 years, and is now enjoying her coastal lifestyle in Morehead City. Cheryl loves to take advantage of everything a coastal town has to offer and in her spare time can be found at the beach most weekends, exploring the area or at the gym, and spending time with her family, friends and two dogs.

  • Crystal Johnson

    » Assistant Community Manager

    Crystal joined the CAMS Morehead City team in August, 2017 . She brought with her almost 20 years of customer service experience and 14 years of management experience after working for the largest privately held foodservice distributor in the US. Originally from Edgecombe County, Crystal has lived in Carteret County since July of 2017. She has always dreamed of living at the beach and is now doing so with her husband and two of her children while her oldest is pursuing a career with the United States Army.


  • Cindy Baine

    Cindy has been in the property management field since 2003 and with Benchmark since 2006. Customer service is her highest priority and she has strong administrative skills to keep all aspects of her job in balance. Because she has been with most of her properties for so many years, she has developed deep professional relationships with her boards and homeowners who know they can count on her to do what she says she is going to do. She is active in CAI and actually enjoys doing her continuing education for keeping her CMCA current. Cindy’s free-time activities include a daily yoga practice, participation in the local Corvette and Mustang clubs and going to movies. She is a current events nerd and enjoys reading.

  • Sue Faulkenberry

    Sue was born and raised in the Cleveland, OH area. She graduated cum laude from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and moved to Myrtle Beach shortly thereafter to work for the summer and has never looked back. Sue has worked in the hotel/resort industry for 30 years holding various management positions. Most recently however Sue has been working with the Benchmark CAMS group since 2005 and holds the position of Community Manager.

  • Theron Miller

    Theron started his career in association management with Benchmark in 2000 where he managed several communities in the North Myrtle Beach area. In 2004 he and his wife, Rebecca relocated to Florida where he earned his CAM license and managed numerous properties. In 2013 it was time to come home! Theron rejoined Benchmark and manages properties in Myrtle Beach and Calabash, NC. Theron and Rebecca live in Little River and have been avid Scuba divers for many years.

  • Tiffini Allen, CMCA, AMS, PCAM

    Tiffini is originally from Pennsylvania and has been in the Myrtle Beach area (and HOA world) since 2008. Prior to moving to Myrtle Beach, she spent 4 years in Fort Bragg, NC doing financial counseling for military families and assisting military wives as part of the Comfort Team when their husbands were lost in battle. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance and has attained her CMCA, AMS, and PCAM designations through CAI. Her passions include spending time and traveling with her daughter, hosting exchange students, baking, kayaking, coffee, and reading. She likes staying active in her community by doing volunteer work for animal shelters and organizations that focus on mentoring at risk teen girls.

  • Alyssa Woods

    » Assistant Community Manager

    Alyssa is a Colorado native, born and raised in the Rocky Mountains. She recently moved to the Carolinas to fulfill her dream of living near the ocean and loves every minute. Before beginning her career in property management, she studied at the University of Colorado Boulder and graduated with a degree in International Affairs. She is very excited to be a part of the CAMS team and is happy to share her 10 years of customer service and property management experience. Alyssa enjoys spending time with family and friends, dancing, being outdoors and trying something new.
