AAMC® - Accredited Association Management Company designation from CAI (Community Associations Institute)

A company that has achieved the AAMC® accreditation is committed to providing unique and diverse community association management services to their clients. An Accredited Association Management Company ensures that their team members have the required skills, experience, and integrity to provide their communities with success.

Requirements for AAMC®:

  • A team of which 50% of managers hold a professional designation or certification

  • The senior manager must have a professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation

  • The company must have a minimum of 3 years' experience providing community association management services

As an Accredited Association Management Company, we are held up to the highest ethical standards within our industry. There are only 215 AAMC® Companies in the nation and only 12 in North Carolina.  CAMS is proud to represent one of the 12 in North Carolina.

BBB - Accredited Business (Better Business Bureau)

For a company to become BBB accredited, the BBB must determine you meet their accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints.

CMCA® - Certified Manager of Community Associations

This is the only national certification program designed solely for homeowner and condominium associations and cooperatives managers. Only those individuals who have exhibited the core knowledge required to manage community associations are recognized.

AMS® - Association Management Specialist

Achieving the AMS® designation is a demonstration of a manager that is ready to take their career, expertise and their community management knowledge to the next level.

PCAM® - Professional Community Association Manager

The PCAM® designation is the highest professional recognition that is given throughout the nation to community managers. Those managers with the PCAM® designation are some of the most skilled, experienced and knowledgeable managers in the nation. Out of the 64 PCAMS® in North Carolina, 7 of our Community Association Managers have their PCAM® designation.

CPA® - Certified Public Accountant

A certification given to qualified accountants who have passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination and have also completed additional state education and experience requirements.  We have a full-time CPA with 35 years experience on staff.

CPM® - Certified Property Manager

Those with the CPM designation are recognized as experts in real estate management.

MBA - Master of Business Administration
Those who attain a graduate business degree are provided with the leadership and analytical skills that are valuable for their career.
